Mom's Buttercream Icing

1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 cube margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
4 Tblsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat on high for 7-10 minutes.

For chocolate frosting:  add 1 Tblsp. water and 1/2 c. cocoa
For decorating iccing:  use only 3 Tblsp. water
