These are the recipes I use every day . . . not just my own, but also my favorites from family, friends, and other sources. It is a continual work in progress as I fine-tune recipes, add photos, and try new things. Please leave your comments so that I can learn from you too!

French Bread Pizzas

6 whole deli rolls, or crusty Italian rolls
jarred marinara sauce, or pizza sauce
jarred or refrigerated pesto
2 lb. mozzarella cheese, grated
grated parmesan cheese, to taste
2 tblsp. butter
1 onion, sliced
1/2 lb. ground sausage (breakfast or Italian)
pepperoni slices
Canadian bacon slices
pineapple chunks, fresh or canned
roma tomatoes, sliced
black olives, sliced

Optional ingredients:
goat cheese
bell peppers, sliced
various cheeses
pepperoncinis
jalapeno slices
red onion, diced
any other pizza toppings, as desired

Preheat oven to 375F.

Slice rolls in half and lay them, cut side up, on baking sheet.

Top each roll half with a generous portion of marinara/pizza sauce or pesto.  Then top with generous amount of grated mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Add whatever toppings you'd like on top of the cheese.

Once assembled, bake on lowest rack of oven for 8 to 10 minutes at 375F.  Then crank up heat to 425F and move to highest rack until cheese bubbles and turns golden brown.

Remove and serve immediately.  Cut roll halves in half again if desired.
