Carolyn's Pie Crust

Blend together:

5 cups flour
2 cups shortening
pinch of salt


In a measuring cup, mix:

1 beaten egg
1 tblsp. vinegar
Fill rest of cup with cold water


Add egg mixture to flour mixture and mix well. Turn out onto floured surface and form into pie shells.
