Buttercream Frosting

2/3 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
3 - 5 tblsp. half and half, or milk
1 tsp. vanilla

In large bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy.  Gradually add sugar, beating after each addition.  Add vanilla and milk one tlbsp. at a time.  Beat to desired consistency.

Frosts one 9 x 13 or 2-layer cake.
