1 box vanilla ice cream sandwiches (24-pack)
1 jar hot fudge sauce
16 oz. Cool Whip
Toppings (optional):
Caramel sauce
Crushed candy bars
Sprinkles
Layer ice cream sandwiches close together in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Drizzle fudge sauce over sandwiches. Spoon Cool Whip over fudge. Repeat with another layer of sandwiches, fudge, and Cool Whip. Cover and freeze overnight.
Cut into long narrow slices. If desired, garnish with caramel sauce, crushed candy bars, sprinkles, or other toppings.
